Annabel walked around the primary school, her rifle on her shoulder and a knife at her hip in a leather holster. She was ready if any zombies managed to get in. Today, she was helping other survivors make Blackwood Primary School fit for human habitation. She lifted some of the thick corregated iron from the floor and began to hammer it into place over the windows with vicious-looking 3 inch nails.

Ashton, who also had weapons all over her, was helping to install beds in the west wing of the school; each bed was fitted with a holster for a lethal-looking knife and a holster for a gun, just in case zombies managed to get this far into the compound.
