Annabel drove down the main street of the city in a sportscar that Sarge had "fixed up". By "fixed up", Annabel meant that Sarge had installed super bumpers and fenders on all sides of the car; he'd sped it up a bit; added a layer of what was, for all intences, unbreakable metal to the main body of the car; a big red button that was on the dashboard that, when pressed, automatically started up the car and pulled titanium shutters over the windows. Luckily, there was a pull down screen that would come in front of the driver and a camera installed on the roof that would help you see if you had to drive and had pressed the button.
At the moment, though, Annabel had a window open, letting the cool air waft into the vehicle. She had never been too interested in cars before the Beginning, though now it was a necessity to understand the main parts of the cars now so that you could fi them in a hurry if they broke down while you were outside your Hideout.
Anyway, Annabel was riding back from a meeting with Ellie at Aston Hall Uni about possibly taking a few Raiders from each Hideout to take a look on the motorway for survivors, and also to perhaps clean it up a bit; bodies and cars were everywhere. Although it had been 3 years since they had last been used, the cars on the motorway might be able to be salvaged for the use of both Hideouts.
