FULL NAME:: Eliana James
MY ALIAS:: Ellie
MY AGE:: 20
MY GENDER:: Female
MY PERSONALITY:: Serious nearly all of the time, Ellie is usually the person who keeps everyone else calm in stressfull or frightening times. She is mature for her age and isn't afraid to speak her mind, even if it might hurt someone's feelings. She's heavilly sarcastic and usually keeps to herself, though she understands that working with other people in the zombie apocalypse will probably save your life. She doesn't get angry easilly, but when she is angry, she's most likely to tear your head off or just slap you. Hey, either one works, right? She keeps grudges for a very long time, which roughly translates to "if you mess with her twice, you won't live to mess with her another time'.
MY HISTORY:: Ellie was born into a large family in the posher part of the neighbourhood. She had 3 sisters and 2 brothers and her aunt and uncle and cousins lived not far down the road. She was nearly always put in the spotlight - 3 years old: "Aaw, look what Ellie did!"; 13 years old: "Ellie, stop it!" - alongside her siblings and so much prefers to be left alone. She started hanging out with the 'music freaks' at high school, joined a couple of music groups, and started playing piano like mad until she could print off some sheet music and play it straight away with barely a glance at the notes.
It was a distraction from the attention at home, and it also gave her an excuse not to be home all the time. She needed to go ask Mrs Monroe about this piece; she needed to talk to Jan about violin lesson times; she needed to practice the ensemble piece for the concert. 99.9% of her time was spent at school in the theatre or at some musical person's house. Her parents didn't really worry. It wasn't like she was out late, drinking like a fish all the time, was it?
Until it was. Not many people knew that the 'band geeks' actually had lives beside their instruments. For them, it was more like 'a little less practice, a little more party'. House parties raged in neighbouring houses and the music department in its entirety was often found lying in a drunken heap in a corner of a room, giggling and looking a little green. Ellie herself started to get in trouble for coming home later and later, smelling like booze and staggering up the stairs. She was made to visit doctors, but hey, she was 16. It wasn't like she was destroying her liver all too much, it wasn't like she drank every day. Just a couple times a week is all.
Fastforward to 2018. Ellie was walking to a friend's house to "practice" for choir (read: to drink like a sailor and party) when a zombie burst onto the street. At first, Ellie wondered why such a drunk man was on the streets and not at home, recovering or puking or something. Then, as he got closer, the smell of rotting meat hit her. She gagged, staggering away from him, clutching her sleeve to her nose. Instead of just walking past, he turned to her and lunged at her arm. She pulled the limb out of the zombie's sticky grasp and ran all the way to her house. The walking dead were everywhere, roaming around, eating people like they were fast food, just waiting to be picked off the streets. She hurried up the stairs in her house towards her father's study, and grabbed the pump action shotgun and a box of ammo, and ran the hell out of there.
Eventually, she ended up at Aston Hall University where she had once aspired to get into. It didn't look like it had been broken into, so she ran inside and blocked herself in. Every few hours or so, more survivors would turn up. They would be stripped down and checked for bites and scratches, anything that would make them into a zombie themselves, and then either let inside or thrown out. After a few weeks, more and more information came to them: there was a Hideout in the old bomb shelters on the other side of town, and there were other survivors in there already. That meant that quite a few people had lived to tell their tale. It was comforting also that V.I.R.U.S was working on a cure all day every day.
She was the boss of the last Human stand, alongside her best friend Mallory and boyfriend Daniel.
